Support the Irish Cultural Center Library
Every action of our lives touches on some chord that will vibrate in eternity.”
– Sean O’Casey
The library represents a unique partnership between the City of Phoenix and the Irish Cultural and Learning Foundation. So far, $3.5 million has been raised through private donations to build the library as of June 2011, but nearly $8 million is still needed to open and operate the library. The foundation hopes to establish an endowment to ensure the library will be a presence in the community for years to come.
There are many ways you can help be part of Building the Library:
- Named Gift – For donations over $1,000 you will have the opportunity to have library sections named after you. Please go to our Named Gift page or our Contact Us page
- Help Build the Library – The library is selling a limited number of personally engraved stones to pave the way to the entrance of the building. Go to our Help Build the Library page for more information
- Direct Giving – Donate directly online at our Donations page or go to our Contact Us page
- Volunteer – We need volunteers in all areas prior to and after the library is built. For information go to our Volunteer page
