About the McClelland Irish Library

The McClelland Irish Library will be the only library of its kind in the Western United States dedicated to the great masterpieces of Irish literature. The library will feature more than 6,000 pieces including:
- Works from Irish poets and authors such as William Butler Yeats, George Bernard Shaw and Samuel Beckett
- Important Irish periodicals
- Traveling exhibits from Irelands
- Irish movies
- Irish music
- Irish photographs
- Documents covering the role of Irish Americans in Arizona and the Southwest
The McClelland Irish Library will be the leading Irish genealogical research center in the country with tools and resources to discover your heritage.

The state-of-the-art McClelland Irish Library is a unique partnership between the City of Phoenix and the Irish Cultural and Learning Foundation
- Location: 1106 N. Central Ave, Phoenix, Arizona
- Size: 15,000 square feet located on 2-acres
- Cost: $11.5 million, currently raised $3.5 million as of June 2011
- Completion: October 2, 2012
